Born in the Bay Area & currently residing in Orange County, Sonderpop Pictures founder, James Cortez, is a multi-disciplinary creative whose pursuits encompass music & video production.

A graduate from CSUS’s Film Program (2014) he produces a spectrum of video content for small business, corporate, commercial, and wedding clients. Having spent years as a digital creator, he has a keen understanding of what resonates with audiences across social media, and how to leverage that understanding into engaging & memorable videos. Since 2018 he has worked with brands such as Mercedes, Fisker, McDonalds, and Del Taco, gaining experience in all facets of video production.
